2. Read the Park Guide for each stop to see what time of year fits your trip and how many days each park deserves.
3. Check our Trip Planning Tips for booking timelines. Popular campgrounds and lodges can book out 6-12 months ahead.
4. Build a loose day-by-day plan, but leave slack. Weather, wildlife jams, and trail closures are part of the experience.
